How Toxic Is Refined Sugar

Refined Sugar

Today, in America and the rest of the world, people are consuming more sugar than they need on a daily basis. The average American consumes three times as much sugar today than twenty years ago, causing obesity that leads to type 2 diabetes and heart disease. Today, about 70% of adults are either overweight or obese and approximately 20% of children are obese as well. Lots of the food you purchase has added sugars in them, which helps to increase the problem of obesity that causes type 2 diabetes.

Refined sugar removes many of the vitamins and minerals we need to nourish our bodies leaving us just with carbohydrates depleting the body of needed nutrients.
As a result, the refined sugar, you eat turns into trans fats that lead to high cholesterol and type 2 diabetes.

In natural sugar, the sugarcane works to metabolize carbohydrates that burn energy. On the other hand, refined sugar has bad carbohydrates that cause fatigue.
This leads to the formation of “toxic metabolites” such as pyruvic acid causing abnormal sugars that contains five atoms.
Pyrrhic acid builds up in the brain, central nervous system and red blood cells as well, which become toxic.

This toxic substance interferes with oxygen in the cells so they can’t or function normally.
As a result, over time, it causes the body to break down, which causes degenerative diseases such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease, stroke and other health problems.

Large amounts of sugar on a daily basis can result in a condition depleting the body of minerals that protects you in the attempt to rectify imbalances.
In order to protect your blood, the body needs lots of calcium to prevent tooth decay. Over time, sugar begins to invade the organs in your body, causing this toxic substance to be stored in the liver in the form of “glucose.”
The liver can handle so much refined sugar before it expands like a balloon.
When the liver becomes overfilled it turns into “glycogen” returning to the blood in the form of fatty acids.
As a result, it’s stored in the areas of the belly, buttocks, thighs, arms and breasts. Over a period of time, fatty acids begin to enter into the organs like the heart, liver, pancreas, and kidneys over time, resulting in tissue damage leading to type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Also, parasympathetic nervous system becomes affected in the brain, resulting in fatigue. Refined sugar causes the immune system to break down over time resulting from the inability to fight against colds, infections, mosquito bites, and the flu.

Sugar has an effect on the brain resulting in brain malfunction. In order for the brain to function normally, it needs glutamic acid that is found in fruits and vegetables.
B vitamins, also plays a major role in dividing glutamic acid into antagonistic-complementary compounds that produce a “control” response in the brain. Vitamin B is manufactured by symbiotic bacteria that lives in our intestines.
Over time, when we ingest refined sugar, the symbiotic bacteria in our intestines die and wither, which lowers vitamin B levels in the blood. Too much sugar makes us fatigue and causes us to function less in our daily activities. We need to remember to eat more fruits and vegetables and to stay away from processed foods, especially refined sugar.
So next time you shop at your nearest grocery store, remember to check the ingredients to see what is in the foods you buy.
